Stalk Me CoverSTALK ME  – http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13557124-stalk-me

Gossip girl meets Hollywood in this new series by That Boy author, Jillian Dodd.

Keatyn has everything she ever dreamed of. Her life is following the script she wrote for the perfect high school experience. She’s popular, goes to the best parties, dates the hottest guy, and sits at the most coveted lunch table.

She’s just not sure she wants it anymore.

Because really, things aren’t all that perfect.
Her best friend is threatening to tell everyone her perfect relationship is a scam.
Her perfect boyfriend gets drunk at every party they go to.
It’s exhausting always trying to look and act perfect.
And deep down, she isn’t sure if she has any true friends.

To add to the drama, her movie star mom’s long-time fan has turned stalker.
An older man is flirting with her and telling her they should make a movie together.
And she’s crushing on an adorable surfer. Dating a guy like him would mean committing social suicide.

So she writes a new script. One where all the pieces of her life will come together in perfect harmony.
But little does she know, there’s someone who will do anything to make sure that doesn’t happen.

kiss meKISS ME – http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/16073993-kiss-me

I’ve always written scripts for my perfect life.
But no way could I have ever scripted this.
My life is so far from perfect, it’s not even funny.
All because of a stalker.

I’m at a boarding school where I have to lie about who I am.
I can’t see my family.
I’m tutoring a Hottie God that tortures me with his smile.
The most popular girl already hates me.
But there’s this boy.
This hot, sweet, sexy boy.
So I’m going to stop trying to script my life and just live it.
Because who knows how long I have left.

That Boy by Jillian DoddTHAT BOY – http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/11382346-that-boy

That Boy is a contemporary romance about falling in love with the boys next door.

You know, being friends with two cute boys does have its benefits.

There’s Danny. Danny is a golden boy in every way. He has dreamy blue eyes and blonde hair that always looks perfect, even when it’s windblown or been stuck under a football helmet. He’s the boy every girl crushes on. The boy I get into trouble with, the boy I fight with, the hot quarterback no girl can resist, not even me. Being with Danny is like being on an adventure. He has a bright, contagious smile and abs to die for. He’s pretty much irresistible.

Equally crush worthy is Phillip. Adorable, sweet Phillip, who I have known since birth.  Phillip has dark hair, a perfect smile, brown eyes, and the sexiest voice I have ever heard. He’s the boy I talk to every night before I go to sleep. The boy who rescues me, the boy who can read my mind, the boy who is always there for me, the boy who tries to keep me out of trouble, the boy who irritatingly keeps getting hotter, and whose strong arms always seem to find their way around me.  And when he gives me that grin, I can never say no.

One boy will give me my very first kiss.
One boy will teach me to make out.
One boy will take me to prom.
And finally, one boy will ask me to marry him.
They will both be my best friends.
But only one of them will be the boy I fall in love with.
Only one of them is That Boy.

That WeddingTHAT WEDDING – http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/13361570-that-wedding

The gorgeous engagement ring on my finger mimics my happiness.
I feel so sparkly, glittery, and full of promise, because I absolutely know he’s that boy.
The boy I want to marry. My prince. My happily ever after.

But then our pastor starts asking lots of questions.
His parents say I haven’t dealt with my past.
I have horrible wedding disaster dreams.
I can’t find the perfect dress.
I have to manipulate him to get my way.
An old boyfriend asks me to run away with him.
My best friend says I’m going to ruin everything.
And forever starts to sound like a really long time.

Which totally freaks me out and makes me question everything I know.

Should best friends get married?
Will my past affect our relationship?
Are my horrible dreams a warning?
Will I ever find a dress?
Could his sexiness be clouding my judgment?
Am I going to ruin everything?
Or is it just a case of cold feet?

And then I have to decide. Am I willing to give up on true love forever, or am I going to listen to my heart and marry him?

~Smashwords~ Another Great Way to Download E-Books

Another great way to access reads not available from your e-book provider is by using Smashwords.

http://www.smashwords.com/

How can I read a Smashwords ebook on my desktop, laptop or tablet computer
The Smashwords HTML and Javascript readers allow you to sample or read online, via your Web browser. Several of the available formats at Smashwords are easily read on a personal computer or tablet. How to read the most common formats:

EPUB – Download the free Adobe Digital Editions (for PCs and Laptops).  Adobe Digital Editions is great for Smashwords authors who want to inspect their files.  For Apple iPad/iPhone/iPod Touch, download the free Apple iBooks app, or consider other great free apps such as Stanza or Bluefire (all available in the Apple App store).

MOBI (Kindle) – Use Kindle for PC (reads .mobi), Kindle for Mac (reads .mobi) and the popular FBReader(reads .epub, .txt, .mobi and multiple other formats).

PDF – Use Adobe Acrobat.  Most computers come pre-installed with Adobe Acrobat (if not, click here to download it for free).

RTF – Read in any word processor.

After you install one of the above apps, simply return to your Library, click to the book you want to download, then click to download the appropriate file format.  Your web browser should ask you if you want to use the app to read immediately, or if you want to download the book to your computer (if you download to your computer, the Desktop is a good location to drop the file so you can find it).   Please note there are many third party e-reading software applications, and Smashwords cannot provide you customer support on how to install or use them.  Most have online help files.

How do I download books to my Kindle or Kindle Fire?
You’ll find links to all your purchased books in your Smashwords Library. There are two options for loading Smashwords ebook content to your Kindle or Kindle Fire:

1.  USB Connection.  Plug your Kindle into the USB slot (small rectangular slot) of your computer using the cable that came with your Kindle (the Kindle Fire doesn’t come standard with the USB cable, so you’ll need to obtain the cable separately, or, use the email option described in #2 below). When you attach your Kindle to your computer via the USB cable, it makes your Kindle appear as a hard drive on your computer. After you purchase the book, from the book’s book page click to download the “Kindle” .MOBI format. Next, navigate to where you see the Kindle show up as a hard drive on your computer. Next, just drop the book’s file (it should end in file name of .mobi) to the Kindle’s “documents” folder. Then disconnect the Kindle from your computer and the book will be ready to read. If you already downloaded the .MOBI file to your computer, here’s a helpful YouTube video that shows how to drag the file from your desktop to the Kindle’s documents folder:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UPOgXDYj3M (video not produced by Smashwords).

2.  Email the Ebook to Your Kindle Email Address:  For both first generation Kindles and the newest Kindle Fire, you can email your Smashwords .mobi files to your Kindle email address.  Amazon’s support page provides complete details.   To email files to first generation Kindles (Kindles other than the Kindle Fire), click here:  http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html?nodeId=200140600.  For Kindle Fire only,  Click here for how to set up your free Kindle email address, and how to load ebooks or email ebooks to your Kindle Fire using either the email or USB cable method.

How do I download books to my Kindle from my Mac
First, go to your web browser’s Preferences and click Downloads.  Make sure to click on the box that directs your browser to ask you where you want to save downloads.  If you don’t do this first step, your files may go to your Downloads folder, and then it will be difficult to move them to your Kindle.  Next, connect your Kindle to your Mac using the USB cable that came with your Kindle.  Next, click to your Smashwords Library to find the link for your purchased book.  Then click to download the .MOBI file.  When your browser asks where you want to save the file, navigate to your Kindle’s “Documents” folder, and drop the file there.  After a few seconds, unplug your Kindle’s USB cable and you’re ready to read.

How do I add an ebook to my Kindle App on Android?
Download the .mobi version of your ebook to your computer (remember where you put it). Plug your Android device via USB into your computer. On your Android device set it to ‘USB storage’ this may be a pop up query, but you may have to activate it from you device settings. Navigate from your computer to the /kindle folder and copy the .mobi file here. Eject or dismount your phone safely from the computer before disconnecting the cable. And don’t forget to uncheck the ‘USB storage’ button on your Android device (Thanks to Smashwords customer Darold Dickey for contributing this FAQ).

I tried to download an updated version of a MOBI ebook, but only the old version is showing
Before you try to download a newer version of a MOBI file to your Kindle or Kindle for XX (XX= PC, Mac, Android, etc) app, delete the old MOBI file from your app or device, then try again.

How do I download books to my iPhone or iPod Touch?

Stanza is a great e-reading app that offers full integration with your personal Smashwords library. Just download the free Stanza app, then using the Safari browser, log into your Smashwords account. You’ll see a convenient link on the home page that allows you to import your Smashwords library directly into Stanza. This way, whenever you purchase a book at Smashwords, it’s instantly readable in Stanza. In addition to Stanza, you can also download the Kobo app, where you’ll find thousands of Smashwords books available for sale (this, however, cannot integrate with your personal Smashwords library, as can Stanza).

How do I download books to my iPad?
Download Apple’s free iBooks app, if you haven’t already.  You’ll find it in your iPad’s App Store.  Next, use the iPad’s Safari web browser to visit the Smashwords book page of the title you want to download, then download the EPUB version of the book.  The iPad will give you the option to load the book into your iBooks library.  If you have other favorite e-reading apps installed, it may also give you the option to open the books in your other e-reading apps as well.

I enjoy reading samples on my Aldiko reader on Android, but I’m getting an error on the purchased book
Before you download the full purchased version, try deleting the partial sample from your Aldiko reader.  This usually solves the problem.

How do I download books to the Sony Reader?

Sony is an authorized Smashwords retailer, so you can find many Smashwords ebooks in their store. You can also purchase directly at Smashwords and download them to the Sony Reader. The Sony Reader supports the EPUB format.   Here’s the step-by-step:  1.  Plug your Sony Reader into your computer using the USB cable that came with your Reader.  You’ll know the Sony Reader is connected when you see the Reader Library software pop up on your screen.  2.  Go to your web browser, and click to the Smashwords Library  where you can click to the book page for the book you want to download.  Scroll down the page to the table of download options.  3.  Click to download the EPUB version.  4.  Your browser should pop up a window asking if you want to open the file with the Reader software, or if you want to save the file.  5.  Select the save option, which will allow you to download it.  6.  Next, navigate your system directory (PC users:  Click My Computer), where you’ll see your Sony Reader appear as a hard drive labeled as READER: E (or some other letter), then click READER, then click the directory for Database, then click the directory for Books.  This is where you’ll save the file.  After you save the file there, wait about 30 seconds and then you can unplug the Reader from the USB cable and your book is ready to read.

How do I download books to the Barnes & Noble nook?
Barnes & Noble is an authorized Smashwords retailer, so over 40,000 of the books you see at Smashwords are also for sale at B&N. For the nook, just attach the nook to your personal computer via the USB cable (makes it appear as a hard drive), and then download your books directly to your nook’s My Documents folder. B&N calls the process “sideloading.” Here’s a video on the process: http://www.barnesandnoble.com/nook/video.asp?bnit=H&bnrefer=EBOOKS&cds2Pid=30195#vid2

How do I download books to my Kobo Reader?
Connect your Kobo Reader to your computer using the USB cable and then drag and drop books to add them to your library.  After you connect your Kobo Reader to your computer using the USB cable, tap Connect on your Kobo Reader screen.  When Windows prompts you for an action, select  ‘Open folder to view files.’   A window should open, showing the contents of your device.  In another window, go to the location of your ebooks on your computer and drag and drop then into the Kobo library window.  These instructions are excerpted from Kobo’s online documentation.  If you have better instructions, please contact us via the “Comments/questions” link above.

Where I Needed To Be by Kimberly Knight ~NEW REVIEW~

Where I Needed To Be

Where I Needed To Be is the debut novel by Kimberly Knight, what a fabulous debut!  I thoroughly enjoyed this novel.

Where I Needed To Be is a nice easy read, great story with FAB characters that I couldn’t put down. I loved that this story wasn’t full of angst or that I didn’t need to concentrate on what I was reading.  It’s great to get lost in a novel that doesn’t turn you into an emotional wreck!  Where I Needed To Be was exactly the light read I was looking for.  Did I forget to mention it’s a HOT read!  Loves those reads with a little dirty to them 😉 especially when it belongs in the story.  Ms. Knight knows who to write some FAB sexiness!!

I enjoyed the characters in Where I Needed To Be, they weren’t complex, they were simple and enjoyable.  Spencer and her best friend Ryan were fun characters.  Brandon is strong, caring and sexy as F$%# (you know what I mean)!  You authors really need to stop creating these amazing men, I feel like a book boyfriend HO!

If you are looking for an easy HOT read with a great story and loveable characters, don’t miss out on Where I Needed To Be.  N. 4/5

The Valentine’s Arrangement by Kelsie Leverich ~Review~

valentinesarrangeI don’t usually read novellas because I find them to be too rushed or incomplete. The Valentine’s Arrangement by Kelsie Leverich proved me wrong. I really enjoyed this sassy, feisty, hot read.
Here’s the thing– yes this was a case of guy and gal are physically attracted to each other. (I certainly don’t want to read about characters who have absolutely no chemistry. Is there even such a book?) Yes, said guy and girl are pinup gorgeous. (Don’t want to read about uglies going at it either) And yes those same said guy and gal have baggage and issues between them. (Sure makes the sex hotter).
I loved that Ronnie, our female main character, was the one who had the tattoos and was the mouthy bad girl and that Kale was the clean cut, by the rules good guy, more so.
Keep in mind that this is a novella so the story does move quickly or jumps larger spans of time. However, the sequence of events is fluid and logical. Leverich also did a good job of letting us know who Ronnie and Kale are and what they are about. In fact, I don’t think we would have any different picture in our mind had it been a full length book.
So there will be those critics that will claim they have been there, read that. I’m not sure how many ways romance can be done, so I’ll take the way Kelsie Leverich serves up fun, sexy and hot in the Valentine’s Arrangement any day. The story is no more and no less a way to escape the daily grind of real life. It won’t take up lots of time and it won’t wear you down. So take it for what it is and enjoy.
Want a cheeky, fun, hot, sexy read? Grab The Valentine’s Arrangement by Kelsie Leverich. It’ll take the edge off. D 4/5

About this author

I’ve always been a lover of writing, but mostly dabbled in creating poetry while raising my three beautiful children. I am grateful that my husband of fifteen years has supported me—albeit sometimes kicking and screaming—as I pursue this “hobby” of mine. Without his help, writing would be an impossible endeavor.

In late June 2012, I felt an urgent tug of my pen, and I began writing my first novel. Although I thought it might never see the light of day, it gave me the courage to plunge headfirst onto a path I had never considered before.

I love writing while listening to music. Through it, my characters come alive in my head with their incessant chatter. The overwhelming urge to release them and tell their stories takes hold.

My characters tend to find love in the most unexpected times and places. Since I greatly enjoy a book full of angst, it is no wonder that I am drawn to write such an emotionally charged tale.
