Jessica Harper is the epitome of perfection. She’s a good daughter, makes excellent grades, and always strays on the safe side of life. The last thing she thought would ever happen was falling in love with her best friend’s brother. But sometimes fate just has a way of bringing two people together.
Wide receiver for the University of Arizona, Gabe Garcia, seems to have it all. When his feelings for Jessica come to surface, Gabe will give up everything to be with her.
But what happens when a tragedy abruptly changes the course of your life? For Jessica and Gabe, everything they thought they knew about each other will be questioned. Sometimes, there are scars in life that are cut too deep to completely heal.

Flirty and Dirty Book Blog’s Review of Unbreakable by Rebecca Shea
First let me say congratulations to Rebecca Shea for an incredible debut!!! You know that feeling you get when you start a book and BAM you’re instantly hooked?!?! That’s exactly what happened to me when I started reading Unbreakable by Rebecca Shea. I just knew it was going to be amazing and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to put it down. This beautiful love story melted my heart but then it broke my heart and I wasn’t sure if it was ever going to be repaired. I kept waiting for the other shoe to drop and for me to be completely emotionally destroyed. While I wasn’t emotionally gutted by Unbreakable it did have a profound affect on my heart. Unbreakable is sexy and hot but not over the top hot. The connection and sexual tension Ms. Shea created between the characters is what made Unbreakable so sexy… fabulous!! I know I was biting my nails!! 😉 Rebecca Shea has created beautiful characters in Jesse, Gabe and Landon and, I felt emotionally invested in each of them. But honestly, all of the characters in this book were brilliant. I felt that each and every character played an important role in the story and that the story wouldn’t have been the same without them. They will all find a place in your heart.
Rebecca Shea broached a tough subject and she did it with tact and class. I was grateful to her for not leaving me a complete emotional wreck. Don’t get me wrong, I was completely affected by what I read and I felt that my heart had been stomped on BUT, I was able to get past it and move on.
If you are looking for a beautiful angst filled sexy love story that will touch your heart so profoundly… look no further! You will want to read Unbreakable by Rebecca Shea! N. 4/5

We were lucky to have a chance to ask Rebecca Shea a few questions and I think we both love this lady a little more now <3 Enjoy 🙂
F&D: What inspired you to write Unbreakable
RS: I’ve always loved reading and writing. It started with a story in my head and just blossomed from there. It was a long road (took me seven months) but I loved having these characters thoughts in my head!
F&D: Who were your muses for Jessica, Gabe and Landon
RS: For Jess it was Emma Roberts (with her dark hair), for Gabe it was Jay Hernandez and for Landon it was Stephen Amell.
F&D: Without spoiling anything for new readers, how difficult was it to was it to get into Jessica’s head and relay her feelings after the “incident”
RS: She was the hardest character to write. There were times I’d skip writing her chapter to write Gabe or Landon and then go back. I wanted Jess to be stronger at times, yet I knew how I had to write her character for this story. I’m not going to say it was easy, because it wasn’t! There were times I didn’t like her at all, which made writing her even more difficult. In the end, I fell in love with her, her weaknesses, her strengths, and her courage.
F&D: Gabe and Landon are both incredible men and you can’t help but fall for both of them, which of these two amazing men would you chose if you were Jessica and why?
RS: Gabe. Always Gabe. There was no doubt in my mind that, that was a kind of love that doesn’t happen—nearly ever. She needed Landon to break her out of her shell, but she needed the comfort and security of Gabe for forever.
F&D: What are you working on next?
RS: I’m working on Landon’s story titled Undone. He’s a feisty one…I tell ya’.
F&D: What are 5 thing we don’t know about Rebecca Shea
RS: Oh, I have lots of things to share….I’m a wife, mother of 3 and work full-time. I’m obsessed with the NFL and the Minnesota Vikings are my favorite team (I have a mad crush on Jared Allen…mullet and all). I’m 5’ 11” (yes, basically a giant). I went to college in North Dakota…Go Sioux, and I currently live in Arizona (and hate it!) and really, really want to move to North Carolina.
Rebecca Shea lives in Phoenix, Arizona with her family and her first “kid” her beagle, Miles. From
the time Rebecca could read she has had a passion for reading and books. Rebecca spends her days
working full-time in the financial industry as a marketing manager. Born and raised in Minnesota,
Rebecca moved to Arizona in 1999 to escape the bitter winters. When not working or writing, she can
be found on the sidelines of her boys football games, or watching her daughter at ballet class. Rebecca
is fueled by insane amounts of coffee, margarita’s, Laffy Taffy (except the banana ones), and happily ever after’s.
