CONFESS by Colleen Hoover, is coming to a screen near you in early 2017

Production Has Begun on the Series Based On the Romance Novel by New York Times Best Selling Author, Colleen Hoover

Los Angeles, CA—December 7, 2016— Awestruck, the fastest growing digital entertainment brand for millennial moms, is proud to announce that production on their first ever scripted series has begun. The series for go90 is based on Colleen Hoover’s novel, Confess, which won the Goodreads® Choice Award for Best Romance Novel of 2015.

Based upon the novel from bestselling author Colleen Hoover, Confess is a modern love story about the secrets we keep to protect the ones we love. Auburn Reed, played by Katie Leclerc known for her role in Freeform’s Switched at Birth, is determined to put her challenging past behind her and get her future on track. Now in her mid-twenties and struggling to fund her custody battle for her only son, she stumbles upon the art studio of the talented and charming artist, Owen Gentry, played by Ryan Cooper, known for his role in MTV’s Eye Candy, and who will be appearing in the comedy Rock That Body with Scarlett Johansson and Kate McKinnon, in 2017. The two wrestle with their developing romance and the secrets they’re both keeping until they realize they may risk their future if they don’t reveal their pasts to each other. Will they confess, and can their love survive the truth?

Acclaimed actress Sherilyn Fenn, known for Shameless, Ray Donovan, and her iconic role as Audrey Horne in the original Twin Peaks and the upcoming 2017 reboothas joined the cast as Lydia, a figure from Auburn’s past. Rounding out the cast is prominent DJ & influencer Amy Pham as Emory, Auburn’s best friend; Brittany Furlan, actress and notable social media influencer, as Hannah, Owen’s ex-girlfriend, and Rocky Myers, appearing in Bloodline: Now or Never in 2017, as Trey, another man vying for Auburn’s heart.

Colleen Hoover is the #1 New York Times bestselling author of eleven novels and five novellas. Hoover published her first novel, Slammed, in January 2012. Since then, all of her full-length novels have become New York Times bestsellers. This year, Colleen was awarded the Goodreads Choice Award in the romance category for the second year in a row for her novel It Ends With Us.

“I’m excited that my partners at Awestruck are transforming my novel, Confess, into a scripted series,” says author Colleen Hoover. “I’ve poured my heart and soul into the romance genre and am honored that my work will now be visually represented for readers everywhere. I can’t wait for you to experience the story of Auburn and Owen, two strangers that take a huge risk on their growing love, and find their hearts caught between truth and lies.”

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Colleen Hoover, a  novel about risking everything for love—and finding your heart somewhere between the truth and lies.

Auburn Reed has her entire life mapped out. Her goals are in sight and there’s no room for mistakes. But when she walks into a Dallas art studio in search of a job, she doesn’t expect to find a deep attraction to the enigmatic artist who works there, Owen Gentry.

For once, Auburn takes a risk and puts her heart in control, only to discover that Owen is keeping some major secrets from coming out. The magnitude of his past threatens to destroy everything important to Auburn, and the only way to get her life back on track is to cut Owen out of it.

The last thing Owen wants is to lose Auburn, but he can’t seem to convince her that truth is sometimes as subjective as art. All he would have to do to save their relationship is confess. But in this case, the confession could be much more destructive than the actual sin…

People only reveal what they want you to see…
Chad Kirkwood has a secret. One he’s determined to keep buried until he’s ready to divulge it. So when he shows up on Katie’s doorstep in answer to a job posting, he stretches the truth and tells her only what she needs to know.
Katie Wicken is broken. Left to pick up the pieces of a called-off engagement and a failing farm after the death of her father, she’s determined not to let anyone else into her heart. Then she hires Chad, and Katie finds herself glancing in his direction, watching him work, and thinking about him after the sun goes down.
Something begins to awaken within Chad, too. It’s been forever since he’s felt such a genuine connection and been able to fully enjoy his life. Hell, live his life. But when Chad’s lie catches up with him, he’s forced to come clean.
And the truth could break Katie’s heart once again.
Grief and pain can make people do crazy things…but so can love.
“Don’t speak about something you don’t understand, all right? Whatever Katie has told you, that’s all it is…a piece of a much bigger pie. You don’t know me, and no matter what you think, you don’t know her either.”
Chad crossed his arms in front of his chest, not sure what to say next. From the corner of his eye, he could see Katie stomping through the tall grass towards them. The dust from Jay’s car had finally billowed into the garden where she’d been working.
“Are you warning me about her…Jay?” Chad locked eyes with him, his gaze never wavering even though Katie was getting closer with each step.
Jay slammed the car door, wearing a muted grin as he matched Chad’s pose, crossing his own arms and pulling himself up to his full height, at least three inches taller than Chad’s five feet and eleven inches. “She used to be different, that’s all. Calm yourself, will you? I’m just telling you, you don’t know the real Katie. To be honest, you probably never will. The real Katie we all knew and loved died along with her father. My Katie is gone, so like I said, don’t talk about things you only think you understand.”
Thankfully, Chad didn’t have to form a response, not that he knew what he would say to that, anyway. Katie’s feet hit the gravel just as Chad had opened his mouth to speak; however, the look on her face evoked enough uncertainty in him that he swiftly closed it again.
“You said you were picking Mason up at five thirty. It’s only a few minutes past five.” Katie consulted her watch as though to confirm it, lifting her head to glare at Jay again.
“I’m a few minutes early. I wanted to see how everything was going.”
“Everything is just fine, Jay. You can come back in twenty seven minutes.” Katie didn’t look at Chad as she brushed past the two men and headed for the house, where Chad knew Mason was currently packing up his clothes and Nintendo DS to take with him.
“Katie, wait…” Jay’s pleas went unanswered, the screen door banging closed abruptly behind her. Only a defeated sigh sounded in the thick silence between them, and Chad uneasily turned away from the other man, intent on cleaning up his mess near the barn wall and getting the hell out of dodge before this situation got any more heated. Jay, on the other hand, didn’t have the same intentions.
“See? What’d I tell you? She’s impossible.”
“No. She’s hurt. There’s a difference.” Chad didn’t look at him. Instead, he plucked the hammer and tin can full of nails from the ground and pretended to admire his handiwork on the barn wall.
“You seem to know a lot about my girlfriend and her—“
“She’s your ex-girlfriend.”
Jay stared at him, seeming to mull over how to react. Chad couldn’t be sure whether it was humiliation or anger that clouded the man’s clean shaven face, maybe a bit of both. Either way, Chad didn’t fear him, and he stared back, unblinking.
“Good to meet you, Chad.” Jay’s tone was condescending and gruff.
“See you in twenty four minutes,” Chad replied, and the hint of a smirk crossed his face the moment he broke eye contact and turned away.
M. Lynne Cunning has always wanted to be an author, but it wasn’t until she discovered National Novel Writing Month and all the insanity that goes along with it that she began to truly realize her love for writing stories. While she doesn’t limit herself to writing only specific genres, her first two published novels, Until I’m Found and Blurred Lines, are considered Romantic Suspense. Her new book, Who I Am With You (to be released February 2016), will be the first in a contemporary romance series. She also doesn’t believe that the traditional typical “happily ever after” is always the way to go. You’ve been forewarned.
She is almost always reading or writing, but also enjoys spending time and traveling with her husband/best friend, Dennis, and is the proud dog-mom of two brindle boxers. She’s also a too-far-gone coffee addict and a lifelong country music fan.

RELEASE DATE: October 21, 2014 After (After, #1)After by Anna Todd

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

4.5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ WOW! What an AMAZING read!!! I will admit after reading the first couple of chapters I wasn’t completely sold on After by Anna Todd but after that…Ms. Todd had me – hook, line and sinker!!

Now what am I supposed to do until book 2 releases!!!!

I don’t usually read a synopsis or review, but with so much buzz surrounding After, I decided to take a look and see what everyone was about. I was aware it was a fan fiction story with an EPIC following, involving the band One Direction but, after reading it I have no idea what that means 😉 I admit some of the reviews I read had me a little nervous about what I was about to begin reading. Well… I should have stuck to my guns and NOT read reviews because I absolutely loved almost every page of this nearly 600 page read. I loved it so much that I read it in two sittings and that was only because it was Thanksgiving weekend in Canada and my family would have been mighty ticked if I sat through dinner with a book in my hand… But I wanted to 😉

What I read was an incredible angst-filled story about a young woman venturing out on her own for the first time in her life, off to college. Tessa is a young woman in every sense, and I really got that from the way Ms. Todd wrote her. Naive and trusting, like many of us were at her age, and I felt myself relating to her. Especially her choices in the men in her life. What is it about a-hole men that attracts some of us. Hardin is the character that you love to hate, but I couldn’t help falling for him myself. Doesn’t mean he isn’t a class A asshat, but I could tell there was more to him and I wanted to know what “more” was.

The characters in this story are great! Every one of them playing the perfect part 😉

I think anyone reading this book needs to go in remembering what it was like trying to navigate through life after high school. Trying hard to stand on your own to feet and make grownup decisions, even if they were the wrong decisions.

After gave me one hell of a book hangover and I can’t wait to get my grabby little hands on book 2. Honestly, I am still reeling over this story. I will warn you that there is a cliffhanger in After and HOLY EFFING HELL, I did NOT see it coming!! Congrats Anna Todd, I can’t wait to see where you take this story.  Nic

**I was provided with a complimentary copy in exchange for an honest review

Tessa has everything to lose. Hardin has nothing to lose;except her. Life will never be the same…

After a tumultuous beginning to their relationship, Tessa and Hardin were on the path to making things work. Tessa knew Hardin could be cruel, but when a bombshell revelation is dropped about the origins of their relationship – and Hardin’s mysterious past – Tessa is beside herself.

Hardin will always be Hardin. But is he really the deep, thoughtful guy Tessa fell madly in love with despite his angry exterior; or has he been a stranger all along? She wishes she could walk away. It’s just not that easy. Not with the memory of passionate nights spent in his arms. His electric touch. His hungry kisses…

Still, Tessa’s not sure she can endure one more broken promise. She put so much on hold for Hardin – school, friends, her mom, a relationship with a guy who really loved her, and now possibly even a promising new career. She needs to move forward with her life.

Hardin knows he made a mistake, possibly the biggest one of his life. He’s not going down without a fight. But can he change? Will he change… for love?

After We Collided (After, #2)After We Collided by Anna Todd

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I was completely consumed by After We Collided…671 pages read in 2 1/2 nights and I wish there was more.

Again, I find myself tense and edgy at the thought of having to wait for the December 30th release of After We Fell. I am completely addicted to the After series!!! It definitely ranks up there in my all-time favourite series. #HESSA

I wish I could put my finger on exactly what it is that has me drawn to Tessa and Hardin’s story. It might be how they’re both trying to navigate through life the best they can – both damaged by events of their childhoods. Or it might be the deep, desperate passion between them. Really, it doesn’t matter. All I know is that I wasn’t able to put After We Collided down. Anna Todd sucked me right back into the story with her complex characters and angst-filed love story.

I feel for Tessa, what would any of us do if we were in her shoes? Would you stay and fight or would you walk away. Hardin has crept into my heart. I want to slap him silly but I absolutely love him. He is everything a girl is warned to stay away from but no one will love as deeply or passionately as he will.

I know there are readers out there who will complain about the story and the behaviour of the characters but for me, that’s what makes the story so addictive. This isn’t a sweet love story…It’s messy…It’s unhealthy… It’s passionate…and it’s all-consuming. Quite often Ms. Todd references Wuthering Heights – one of my most favourite love stories ever – and I think it’s the similarities between Tessa and Hardin, and Catherine and Heathcliff that have drawn to this story.

After We Collided was an incredible read as there haven’t been too many books this year that have made me drop everything. The perfect amount of angst and passion make this a love story I can’t get out of my head…or my heart. And again with the perfect cliffhanger. Hurry up December 30th – I need more!!!  Nic

*I received a complimentary copy from the publisher*

18579859 Book Three of the After series—now newly revised and expanded,Anna Todd’s After fanfiction racked up 1 billion reads online and captivated readers across the globe. Experience the Internet’s most talked-about book for yourself!

Tessa and Hardin’s love was complicated before. Now it’s more confusing than ever. AFTER WE FELL…Life will never be the same. #HESSA

Just as Tessa makes the biggest decision of her life, everything changes. Revelations about first her family, and then Hardin’s, throw everything they knew before in doubt and makes their hard-won future together more difficult to claim.

Tessa’s life begins to come unglued. Nothing is what she thought it was. Not her friends. Not her family. The one person she should be able to rely on, Hardin, is furious when he discovers the massive secret she’s been keeping. And rather than being understanding, he turns to sabotage.

Tessa knows Hardin loves her and will do anything to protect her, but there’s a difference between loving someone and being able to have them in your life. This cycle of jealousy, unpredictable anger, and forgiveness is exhausting. She’s never felt so intensely for anyone, so exhilarated by someone’s kiss—but is the irrepressible heat between her and Hardin worth all the drama? Love used to be enough to hold them together. But if Tessa follows her heart now, will it be…the end?

After We Fell (After, #3)After We Fell by Anna Todd

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I have done nothing but read AFTER WE FELL by Anna Todd for the past 5 days… It’s a biggie folks — over 800 pages! And I have loved! Seriously, the After series is like crack! And thankfully Ms. Todd kept the momentum going with After We Fell.

Honestly, when I saw the size of After We Fell I was a little intimidated — where would the storyline go in such a big book? But once I started it… I was just as hooked as I was with the first two books. So much happens in After We Fell, some good, some bad and some down right ugly. It’s an absolutely incredible emotional ride. There were scenes that had me snorting with laughter, and scenes that had me doe-eyed and swooning, then there were the scenes that nearly ripped my heart out. There’s one particular scene involving Tessa I don’t think I will ever forget because it had my heart about to burst from my chest. The raw emotion Ms. Todd used to write this particular gut-wrenching scene was incredible. I would love to discuss some of the story-lines further but that would definitely spoil the journey.

I am sure there will be naysayers commenting about the on again/off again relationship of Tessa and Hardin, but I LOVE it! So much beautiful angst! The pull of the characters, and the love felt between them is what I can’t stop thinking about. Does Hardin really love Tessa? Should Tessa stay with Hardin and all his highs and lows? I am often reminded of Wuthering Heights, one of my personal favourite books as a girl – Ms. Todd has referenced it in the story — and the angsty relationship of Catherine and Heathcliff.

After We Fell is filled with more of the fabulous characters I have come to love, and those I have come to hate. In fact there are a few characters in the story that I have now switched sides over. Great character development is a wonderful thing for a reader.

Anna Todd has a lifelong fan in me. I have enjoyed every page and look forward to reading the next instalment in the After series. If you haven’t yet started this series make sure you do. If you have read After and After We Collided, get ready for one heck of an angsty ride in After We Fell.  Nic

RELEASE DATE:  February 24th, 2015

It’s never been all rainbows and sunshine for Tessa and Hardin, but each new challenge they’ve faced has only made their passionate bond stronger and stronger. But when a revelation about the past shakes Hardin’s inpenetrable façade to the core—and then Tessa suffers a tragedy—will they stick together again, or be torn apart?

As the shocking truth about each of their families emerges, it’s clear the two lovers are not so different from each other. Tessa is no longer the sweet, simple, good girl she was when she met Hardin—any more than he is the cruel, moody boy she fell so hard for. Tessa understands all the troubling emotions brewing beneath Hardin’s exterior, and she knows she’s the only one who can calm him when he erupts. He needs her.

But the more layers of his past come to light, the darker he grows, and the harder he pushes Tessa—and everyone else in his life—away. Tessa’s not sure if she really can save him—not without sacrificing herself. She refuses to go down without a fight. But who is she fighting for—Hardin or herself?

A Flirty and Dirty sit down with Anna Todd

I have become a huge fan of Anna Todd these past few month so I was honoured to have this lovely lady answer a few questions for us.

I love her even more now and can’t wait to see what the future has instore for this talented lady.

FD:  What is it about One Direction that inspired you to write about them?  And can you please explain what One Direction fan fiction is?

AT:  I love them for starters. I love their music and their interaction with their fanbase, they have done something that so few groups have been able to and I love that. One Direction Fan fiction is just like other fan fiction, where the fans create stories loosely based on them. Sometimes they are realistic, for example, someone may write about meeting Liam Payne while he’s on tour and they fall in love. Others, like me, write AU (Alternate Universe) Fan fiction, where they create completely new characters based on the looks and names of the real person. Zayn may be a vampire king in one story and a college professor in another.

FD:  Obviously, Harry Styles is your favourite member of One Direction, what is it  about Harry that you love?

AT:  Well I love all of them so much, but Harry was the first one I clung to when I first discovered them. He’s just so silly and kind and I think he’s just a one of a kind, wonderful person.

FD:  What inspired Tessa and Hardin’s angsty, dysfunctional love story?

AT:  Wuthering Heights was the main inspiration for the dysfunctional aspect and the angst came from my love for angsty novels.

FD: Who is your favourite character in the series and why?

AT:  Hardin for sure. I love Tessa as well, but Hardin holds a very special place in my soul. I hadn’t planned for him to be such a complex man, but the more he came to life, the more I cared for him.

FD:  What does Anna Todd have planned next?

AT:  Lots and lots of writing 🙂

FD:  Why Wattpad?

AT:  I loved reading on Wattpad because of the format and the fact that it’s an app. I grew to love the community as well. It’s such a positive and innovative place!

FD: Who are some of your favourite authors?

AT:  I love everything written by RK Lilley. She’s phenomenal. I also love Jane Austen, if you can’t tell by reading After haha! Christina Lauren and EL James are also huge inspirations for me.

FD: Ebook or physical book?

AT:  Physical for sure. Most of the time, I buy both, but there’s nothing like holding an entire world in your hands.

FD: What are you currently reading?

AT:  I’m currently reading Forbidden by Tabitha Suzuma, it’s killing me!

Did you also know that Paramount Studios has acquired the screen rights to After??  You know what that means, don’t you… Hardin on the big screen!!!

When Scarlett and Evie go away to college, Scarlett quickly meets Ashton, Dylan, and later, Mason, and is thrown into a crash course of like, love, and lust. With Evie’s help, she must figure out the difference in the three and which one she wants before she ends up without any of them.

Interview with Author Erin Noelle!!! I so loves this girl!!!

Hey Erin thanks for stopping by Flirty and Dirty today! We are so excited.

Thank you so much for having me!!

So I just have to say I don’t think I have come across a book where I have been torn between both book boys. In your series I honestly can’t decide between Mason and Ash. What makes these two, book boyfriend worthy? And why do you think there really isn’t one who is better than the other?

I think that they both have the qualities that so many of like in our book boyfriends. Let’s be honest, we all like to think we can be the one to tame a bad boy or a ladies man, that he will want to stop his man-whoring ways because he’s so in love with us, right? Both Ash and Mason were like this before Scarlett came along, and deep down they are both romantics; they are just wrapped in different paper with different bows.

I love the references to some very popular book boys and the books they came from. What made you decide or how did you come to decide that you would reference various indie books and their book boys?

Well the whole idea for Metamorphosis was based around the idea of finding book boyfriends and the story just kind of evolved from there. I was just in a book club, and all of us liked to try and find pictures of what we thought our book boyfriends looked like, so the story started from there ~ two girls trying to find their book boyfriends in real life. I’ve gotten a lot of positive feedback from readers about how they like to read about some of their favorite characters in the story.

Are any of your characters loosely or not so loosely based on any people you know?

Not really. Scarlett’s character, the whole virgin who has boys falling at her feet, was created a bit tongue-in-cheek. It seemed for a stretch last year that every book I read was about a virgin girl that went away to college. It’s by no means meant to make fun, but almost paying homage to the stories that we love to read. I would definitely say that there are characteristics of myself and other people in my life throughout the characters because it’s easy to write about things you feel comfortable with, but none of them are based off any one in particular.

What is it about fictional characters and stories that bring out some very passionate opinions in readers?

Ya know, I’m not sure exactly, but I’m guilty of it too. I get so wrapped up in the characters’ lives that I am reading about, that I can feel both their pain and their joy. I know for a fact that I have grey hair over books. Lol. I’m not sure if it’s the escape from our own lives or what, but there’s definitely an emotional connection, especially in a well written book.

Ambrosia is your second book. What do you find most difficult about writing? What do you love about writing?

Finding the time to write is the hardest thing for me. Because I work outside the house full time and have two small kids, my only time to write is late at night. It makes it hard to get in a flow or rhythm at times. What I love about writing is how the story consumes me. I think about my characters all day long. I see interactions between people in real life or hear song lyrics that inspire me to write a scene, and from that one scene, the book can take a completely different turn.

How do you want to evolve or grow as a writer? And do you see yourself writing in any other genres?

I would love to write in other genres once I finish this series, especially something funny or perhaps even a murder mystery. I think once you learn how to tell a story, actually getting the ideas into words on paper, your options are limitless. I can see a huge difference in my writing from Meta to Ambrosia, and I hope that I will see that same jump in Euphoria. The key to storytelling is making the reader feel like they are experiencing the events first hand, and there is always room for improvement in this and in anything that you do.

And we ask everyone who stops by…

What is one flirty thing about you and one dirty thing about you?

Flirty ~ I almost always have on matching bra & panty sets.

Dirty ~ I’m a ménage book whore ~ absolutely love them!!!

Thank you so much for answering our questions Erin. We can’t wait to read more from you. Xx

Synopsis – After coming to terms with the tragedy that rocked her world, Scarlett MacGregor has returned to try to pick up the pieces of the broken relationships that she left behind.

Ash and Mason were left devastated and heartbroken following Scarlett’s sudden, unannounced departure. They are both ready and willing to forgive her and welcome her back into their lives with open arms. However, a lot can happen in 8 months…

Scarlett must learn to overcome the obstacles thrown in her path to prevent the past from repeating itself. Can she learn to fly with her own wings and discover the secret to eternal love?

The second book in this series just upped the stakes in Scarlett’s life. Book one, Metamorphosis, saw Scarlett coming into her own and growing up all while trying to figure out her feelings for the hot book boys– rocker Mason and free spirit Ash.
Ambrosia picks up where Metamorphosis left off. I didn’t think Mason and Ash could get any hotter but oh my heck they did and Erin Noelle turned up the heat in this installment of the Book Boyfriend Series.
Ambrosia is the Fruit Of The Gods and it definitely rings true in this book. This time it’s not just the panty dropping physicality of these boys but their heart and sincerity towards Scarlett.
And let me just say that Erin Noelle might be an expert in torture techniques. (Maybe she’s a secret agent for the CIA or something.) Why you ask? Cuz she had to go and up the ante by bringing in another equally gorgeous book boy to add chaos to our already toiled minds and hearts. Max will gently take your heart and leave you trying to figure out which of the boys to root for. Can’t we all just cuddle together?
Ambrosia is a fabulous sequel to her debut in Metamorphosis. You definitely see the growth in her writing and in my opinion I felt that Ambrosia really brought out the feelings and angst the characters had. It was much more solid this time around. There were numerous times I felt the pulls on my heartstrings and myself holding my breath waiting for the next thing. I also laughed my butt off with some of the banter between characters and the typical ‘young guy puffing out his chest and spreading his peacock feathers to impress the girl’ act.
I also think that Erin Noelle did a really good job of portraying a young 20yr old girl- who isn’t ready to be a woman but is forced into the role before being able to experience things young and carefree. There may be things that readers disagree with how it was handled but I honestly felt that given the ages of the characters it was portrayed extremely well. And let’s remind everyone that this is a work of fiction with fictional characters not the 10 o’clock news or a documentary on Dateline.
The Book Boyfriend Series is fun, hot, has some angst that won’t leave you with a book hangover and is an easy quick read. Should it be on your TBR? ABSOLUTELY!!!
Oh and I dare ya to tell me you’ve finally figured out which book boy team you are on. Cuz now I’m team Totally MASHed to the MAX!!!

Meet Mason – the tatted up rock star, nicknamed Rat, once a manwhore but is totally smitten with Scarlett and OMG does he have the most lickliscious V. (Matt Pokora)

Meet Max – the he’s so sweet best friend who develops feelings for her, so cute, always there for you, I’ll love you no matter what sexy but doesn’t know it hottie!!! (Andrew Stetson)

Meet Bentley- the I know I’m gorgeous but I’m such a bitch that I will do whatever it takes to ruin you cuz I want what you have, C***saurus Rex. (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley)

Character Interview (*big grins*)

Hey crew. So I’m uber excited but also a bit nervous. I’m not quite sure how this will all go down. The boys from the Book Boyfriend Series, Mason and Ash are here to answer some questions. They have promised to be on their best behavior (although I’m hoping they get a little flirty and even more dirty).

Hey guys! *blushes* (these boys are so gorgeous)

M ~ Hey there beautiful * winks*

A ~ It’s a pleasure to meet you sweetheart.

So I think I’ll just sit right in between the two of you to keep you from get unruly. (as if. I just want be part of a Mason and Ash Sandwich and it is one delicious sandwich)

K. I don’t hold back so Ash WTF? Why did you do it? Why would want to play that game and hurt Scarlett like that. That was a douche move. (Erin referring to him sleeping with the random chick in Meta)

A ~ You know, I really don’t have a good reason. I fucked up. I was mentally, emotionally, and physically exhausted from the days prior. After Evie died, Scarlett just shut down and I was doing everything I could to try and keep her from falling apart. Then there was Jess, who had lost her cousin. I mean I was really close to Jess and her parents when I was growing up, so seeing them all in pain, killed me too. Then that day after the funeral, when Scarlett refused to let me go home with her or wouldn’t go home with me, I just felt helpless… like she had already checked out. When that girl showed up at the house, I just didn’t care anymore. I was tired of feeling like shit, and I knew that she could make me feel better… even if was only for a short time. I had no idea the price that I would pay for such a selfish, horrible decision.

Mase- no snickering over here. You’ve had a few douche moments yourself.

M ~ Not like that I haven’t.

Now that that’s out of the way. (I seriously think I’m about to die and go to book boy heaven sitting between these two)

This question is for both of you—what is it about Scarlett that makes you lose all sense of reason?

M ~ For me it was her innocence, and I’m not just speaking sexually, even though that was a turn on too… knowing it was like unchartered territory made her even more tempting. But the way she looks at life, unassuming and without expectation, and the fact she has such a pure heart.

A ~ From the moment I saw her and knew she was the girl I had been sketching for years without having ever have seen her, I knew it was something special… SHE was something special. I agree with everything that he said as well.

I think my heart just melted even more and I think I need a cold drink.

Ash- why are you so drawn to the story of Eros and Psyche? *stares into those beautiful eyes*

A ~ I will never forget learning the story of Eros & Psyche. It was Valentine’s Day my freshman year and my Philosophy 101 professor spent the class focusing on different philosophers views on love, lust, soul mates, etc… He told a brief version of the story when he discussed Aristotle’s stance on soul mates. Even though at that time, I had given very little thought to any of that, for some reason, the story just really got to me and I was intrigued by its happy ending, which was rare for Greek myths.

Um… right uh… Mason- before Scarlett, where did you draw your inspiration from for your music? (holy crapballs ladies. You should see the abs on this one and the V- if his shirt raises any more…)

M ~ *scoots closer to you & leans forward* Well my childhood wasn’t all prep schools & BMWs like pretty boy here, so I found music as a way to release my frustration with my parents and as a way to express myself without ending up in juvi like a lot of my friends.

This question is for both of you—Both of you are very talented musicians and more specifically singers *swoon* what is it about music or singing that it becomes part of who you are? Did you always want to be musicians or did you try your hand at other things?

M ~ It’s been music for me since I was in middle school I guess. I played sports until then but never really loved anything until I found the music.

I’m so glad he found music- maybe I can get him to sing for me. *sigh*

A ~ My parents put me in guitar lessons when I was around ten, I think. I prefer playing guitar to singing actually. However, I’ve always been into board sports ~ skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding when we go on vacation. I love the adrenaline rush and thrill of it.

I like sports where I get wet too. Damn it! Sorry *clears throat and hangs head*

Another one for both of you—how does it feel to be talked about and lusted over in regards to your book boyfriend status and popularity? *snuggles in just a little closer to the boys*

M ~ *laughs and puts his hand on your leg* It’s nothing new for me. Ever since we started playing in bars & clubs, girls have acted like we are Aerosmith on tour or something. It’s kind of funny; I guess it’s just something about the rock band image they can’t resist. I don’t mind it at all.

A ~ *rolls his eyes @ Mason’s answer & hand placement* Being lusted over used to be something I craved, but as I’ve grown up *looks at Mason* I realize I don’t need nor necessarily want that any more. Most people are attention whores to fill a void in a different place of their life. Even though it’s very flattering, there’s only one person that I care about wanting me.

Mason—why didn’t you just ask her to go with you to Austin? What is it with you and communicating or rather not communicating what it is you want? (F*** ladies this boy is divine!!!) I think a whole lot of shit could have been avoided. I have to say in all your yumminess, I’m kind of pissed about this. (shit my inside voice just went public)

M ~ Yeah, if only I would’ve known, right? I wish now that I would’ve, but I really thought I was doing the right thing by having her stay and get her life back together. She had just gotten settled back in, and other than me, she only had Mina & Max. I felt if I took her away from them and school, then I wasn’t doing the right thing for her.

Have either of you truly thought about how Scarlett fits into this very complicated puzzle?

A ~ Scarlett gets a bad rap for the decisions she’s made. It’s easy for people to say what they would’ve done or how she should’ve acted, but most people didn’t grow up the way she did. She’s very immature and inexperienced in dealing with her feelings and she reacts without thinking things through, but that’s a direct result of her upbringing and the fact her one & only friend died unexpectedly at the age of 19. She’s still figuring things out, and I for one, am going to be patient with her and understanding while she does.

M ~ It’s a rare thing, but I’ve gotta agree with him. She’s not a malicious or selfish person, even though her actions may seem that way sometimes. She just reacts before thinking; she lets her emotions guide her actions. But as to where she “fits,” *smirks* right next to me in bed seems good to me.

A ~ Shut up dude. You are such an ass.

Ok. I need to lighten this up. I just feel bad for y’all. So each of you tell me one flirty thing about you and one dirty thing about you (I am so looking forward to these answers squee!)

M ~ Look at me, don’t I scream flirty & dirty, sweetheart? *chuckles* Nah, lets see. Flirty ~ I hardly ever make it through a show with my shirt on. Dirty ~ I hardly ever make it through a night with my pants on.

A ~ Wow, I can’t imagine why Scarlett wouldn’t trust you. Anyways… Flirty ~ I love writing poetry/ song lyrics; Dirty ~ I’m oral obsessed *smiles mischievously*

*bites lip and smiles at Ash*

Thanks boys for staying civil towards one another. Although I have to say sitting in between the two of you was… damn my inside voice again. *blushes* I hope y’all will stop by again. It has been a blast.

A ~ Thank you so much for having me.

M ~ *kisses your cheek* Anytime babe.
