Edible by Ella Frank ~BLOG TOUR & REVIEW~

I have loved all the books in the Exquisite series by Ella Frank.  I would like to welcome you all to the final instalment in the series as Flirty and Dirty Book Blog hosts one of today’s stops on the Edible Blog Tour.

Edible by Ella Frank

Edible, delicious, delectable.

Rachel Langley is more than familiar with those three words in her line of work. After all, she spends her afternoons and evenings creating desserts so divine that your mouth will water and your taste buds will tingle.

They aren’t, however, the words she would have ever expected to think of when she locks eyes with a certain lawyer she knows only as Cole.

With each encounter, the infuriatingly persistent man becomes more impossible to resist, and edible is the exact word that comes to mind.

Crave, demand, covet.

Cole Madison knows exactly what he wants, and Rachel Langley is it. From the moment he spotted her at Whipped, he knew he wanted to grab hold and take a bite.

However, the woman has enigmatic moves, avoiding him at every turn.

But not for much longer.

Rachel’s time is up, and as far as Cole is concerned, he’s waited too long for a taste of what he desires. Nothing, including the woman herself, will stop him from consuming what he hungers for.

The only question left is: Who will take the first bite?

Nic’s Review of Edible by Ella Frank

Edible is another brilliant book from Ella Frank. I am sad that The Exquisite series has come to an end. Out of the 3 books in this series, and I have loved each and every one, I have to say that Edible has been my favourite. I know I have said that about each book but there is something about the storyline in Edible that really got to me. Edible had sort of Fifty Shades of Grey meets Pretty Woman feel to me. I have loved all of the couples from this series but Cole and Rachel’s story, I felt, was so much more emotional than the others books in the series and I felt more invested in the story. I only put Edible down when I had to and it killed me to do so!

Rachel Langley is Mason’s little sister. Rachel is harbouring many secrets from her friends and family that they have started to affect her character. Enter Cole Madison, meeting by chance, there is something about her that he is drawn to and can’t forget. Will the pain of her past keep Rachel from letting any one in or will she learn to open up and trust those who care about her. Rachel’s character is very complex and I felt that Ms. Frank did a great job in making her believable. She’s very lonely in life because she has kept herself at arm’s length from everyone trying to keep her secrets safe. For all Rachel has convinced herself that this is how she likes her life, Ms. Frank was able to relay to the reader how broken she was and how badly she wished her life could be different. Cole Madison is Fifty Shades of delicious!!! I promise you will never look at caramel the same way again 😉 Lawyer by day, and sexy goodness by night. However, Cole has his own problems dealing with the near loss of someone close to him yet not having anyone to bare his feelings too. That being said, he reminded me a lot of Christian Grey, strong and domineering yet with a gentle side only seen by a rare few. Of course the rest of the cast of the Exquisite series are back and as funny and feisty as ever.

I felt there was so much more to Edible than the other books in the series. Tough subjects were broached and done very tastefully and believably. Ella Frank know how to write wickedly sexy hot books, scorching hot really and Edible was no exception! My blood pressure definitely peaked while reading Edible *fans self*. Most of all I was able to connect with the characters emotions. Edible pulled me in and didn’t let go until the very end and now I’m sad that the Exquisite series is over. Brilliant way to end an equally brilliant series.  N. 5/5
