My rating: 4 of 5 stars

I loved this book!!! I haven’t read a book with a jerky alpha male in a long time that made me absolutely love his character.
Olivia Evans provided the perfect setting for the character of Anders Ellis. A spoiled, arrogant, obnoxious actor.
What balanced Anders’ character was the fact that the female m/c was feisty and in no way a pushover.
Right from the beginning of the story, Evans reeled me. The chemistry between characters was so dynamic. There wasn’t a single moment i didn’t believe the characters.
The entire book had me wanting to throw my reader and watch Hallmark movies at the same time. I don’t think I’ve ever read a story where the characters had me doing that the entire read. Awesomesauce! And I absolutely loved that I hated the characters one minute and hated that I loved them the next.
The story was well thought out and the turn of events was viable and angsty just enough that my heart could feel it. i also liked that while the story was tied up in a neat little bow by the end, it wasn’t too “Disney” of an ending. In other words, I didn’t feel this huge let down from the climax of the story. There were still enough questions to allow me to envision my own epilogue but not so much that the story was left with too many unanswered questions.
Anders is definitely book boyfriend worthy and Olivia Evans is definitely worth fangirling over.
This was Olivia Evans debut novel. I can’t wait to read more from her.
D 4/5
