~NEW REVIEW~ FIND YOU IN THE DARK by A. Meredith Walters

I really hope this review does this book justice. I am completely blown away by how I felt while reading and how I feel now that I have had some time to process Find You in the Dark.
Find You in the Dark is Walters second book. She does a startling job of pulling you in head first right from the beginning and you lose yourself in a dark that is so brilliant and blinding!
Clay and Maggie’s dynamic need for one another is both necessary and destructive. From the moment they meet you can see how perfect and clear their relationship is. And at the very same moment it guts you and deprives you.
Although Find You in the Dark is a work of fiction, this story breathes, it pulses, it fiercely voices itself to the reader– to see this for more than just a story. I found myself extremely emotionally invested in this story. The focus of the story is not an easy one but a very significant one. It’s not something that will disappear once you close the last chapter.
A. Meredith Walters keeps this story genuine and organic. She does not fill it with fluff so to speak. She brings you to the soul of Clay and Maggie’s fight to survive their own guilt and demand for a love that is vital to them coming out on the other side. There were a few times, I felt the need to take a step back from this book and just breathe.
This was a very emotional and difficult read for me. However, I strongly recommend this powerful and poignant story. It is one that cannot and must not go unrecognized. Walters did a wonderfully moving and thoughtful job of telling Clay and Maggie’s story. I eagerly await the continuation to this story~ D 5/5
